Selva Raaja has been a Trainer cum Lecturer in the education industry for the past 9 years. Prior to that he was with Housing & Development Board (HQ) dealing with Quality Service delivery (audit) and Staff Suggestion Scheme (Board-wide implementation and monitoring).
Teaching experience: While with Management Development Institute of Singapore (MDIS) and Auston Institute of Management and Technology (AIMT), as an English Language lecturer he has taught foreign students of many nationalities. This was followed by being appointed as the Head of English Language Department in Modern Montessori International (MMI). After being there for two years he moved on to take up the position of a Senior Manager at Columbia Business School (CBS). He has also taught English Language and Communication Skills to Senior Government Officers in Cambodia, Myanmar, Laos and Vietnam (CMLV) under the Initiative for ASEAN Integration.
To expand his horizon, he moved on to train adults in their literacy skills by conducting the WDA’s Workplace Literacy and soft skills courses to corporate clients (Customer Service related) programs. Selvaraaja holds a Masters of Education degree from RMIT University. He also has the Advance Certification in Training and Assessment. (ACTA). He is also a certified Coach – EQ-I 2.0 and 3600 Coach.
